La Festa Della Repubblica Celebrations

Our Social Groups came alive with the spirit of Italy on Tuesday 2 June 2026 when they celebrated Italian National Day, as a cornerstone of the nation’s identity and pride.

On arrival at our Social Group Activity Centres everyone was greeted with the sights, sounds and energy of Italy.

As Italian pride filled the centres, complete with national flags and matching green, white and red decorations, the atmosphere evoked warm sentimental feelings among our Social Groups.

Lively conversations, warm smiles and heart-felt laughter flowed as many clients reminisced about their early life in Italy and sampled flavoursome Italian foods starting with antipasto.

Everyone was delighted to enthusiastically pay homage to Italian history, language and culture, with many of our clients and staff appearing in colourful Italian attire.

With classic Italian music being enjoyed by all, spirited sing-alongs and spontaneous dancing brought everyone together, followed by familiar Italian activities such as tombola, cards and bocce.
