Have you always wanted to try yoga but not sure what level will suit you? Are you on a tight budget and keen to join a class that is great value for money? Why not join a yoga class at the wonderful Amici House in Bracken Ridge!

We have the perfect Yoga Class for you

Co.As.It. Community Services is running multi-level yoga classes at Amici House in Bracken Ridge. You don’t need any experience, just comfy clothes, comfy shoes, and a willingness to learn something new.

Our yoga classes run every Friday:

  • Chair Yoga
    8:15am to 9:15am, 9:30am to 10:30am, or 1:30pm to 2:30pm
  • Mat Yoga
    10:45am to 11:45am or 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Cost: $20 for a block of 4 classes, or $5 per class.

Location: Amici House, 294 Bracken Ridge Road, Bracken Ridge with plenty of parking on-site.

What's the difference between our yoga classes?

Multi-Level Chair Yoga

Enjoy all the benefits of yoga while seated. Absolute beginners are very welcome as are those that prefer a seated class with multi-level options.

A gentle class with a range of yoga postures and practises with a therapeutic theme. Sessions include a breathing exercise, guided meditation or mindfulness technique.

Multi-Level Mat Yoga

More challenging than the Chair Yoga Class but with multi-level options. This is the class for you if you can get up and down off the floor with ease, lie on your back, sides, front and perhaps kneel and sit for a short period on the mat.

Offering a different therapeutic theme each week, you’ll be guided through a range of yoga postures and practises including a breathing exercise, guided meditation or mindfulness technique.

Please bring a yoga mat and a bath towel to rest your head on when lying down. This class is held at our undercover area when weather permits; easy-to-move-in layered clothing is advised to stay at a comfortable temperature.
