As gentle gusts of wind swept around Point Danger, our South Coast Social Activity Group was awestruck by the presence of gentle giants splashing about in the waves.
Every August, when the annual Humpback Whale migration gets underway our social group always delights in catching glimpses of the majestic whales.
Settling in for morning tea at the scenic Coolangatta parkland, everyone warmed up with hot coffee, delicious croissants, smiles, laughter and plenty of chit chat.
For our social group, this exciting challenge to spot treasured humpbacks gliding serenely through the waves was made easier when plenty of whales made their presence known.
This year, our social group was filled with amazement thanks to the perfect combination of clear blue skies and whales frolicking amid breathtaking coastline views.
As the parade of whales drew to a natural close, it was time for our social group to make their way to Club Tweed for their tradition of enjoying a roast lunch together.
Everyone was in high spirits from the companionship, excitement and sense of belonging of their social group, with afternoon tea yet to come.
We’re delighted to share the feedback of one most grateful client:
“This was one the best experiences I have ever had since joining the social group years ago and I am so very thankful for Co.As.It. taking me to see the whales,” he said.
Another get-together on the magnificent Gold Coast had created memories to last a lifetime!
