Why Bone Health Matters
Osteoporosis affects 1 in 3 women over 50 – but many women don’t know they’re at risk until they break a bone.
Some women, especially those from multicultural communities, may be at higher risk due to diet, limited sun exposure, or lack of access to health information in their language. That’s why this event is so important.
We want to empower women with knowledge and practical tips – like how to get enough calcium and vitamin D, and how to stay active in ways that suit different ages and cultures.
Celebrating Culture and Community
This isn’t just about health – it’s about connection.
Whether you’ve lived in Australia for decades or just arrived, we welcome you to bring your voice, your language, and your story.
