Queensland Community Support Scheme (Under 65) (QCSS)
Co.As.It is a funded QCSS provider in Brisbane. Support is available to people under 65 years of age who have a long term disability, chronic illness, mental health and other conditions that impact on their day to day functional capacity and their ability to participate in the community.
What support services are available?
Individuals will be required to undertake an assessment and register with the Statewide QCSS Access Point who will provide a referral to the best-suited provider for that individual.
There are two support levels under this program:
- Direct Care and Support
- Community Connection Support
Support services have been approved by the State Government to be delivered under a Consortium model consisting of three culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) organisations, IAWAA and Co.As.It.
Individuals in receipt of QCSS supports will contribute a small fee to the cost of their supports.
This program is underpinned by a person-centred, enabling, and capacity building approach to service delivery.
Please note that this program cannot support people who are eligible for NDIS. For more information on NDIS services provided by Co.As.It (a registered NDIS provider) visit our NDIS page.
