Have you always wanted to try art but haven’t found the right venue or teacher? Co.As.It. Community Services is running inclusive art classes for NDIS participants at Amici House in Bracken Ridge. Free your imagination in a supportive space on Mondays from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm for only $480 for a block of four classes including a delicious lunch.
Amici House is located at 294 Bracken Ridge Road, Bracken Ridge and has plenty of on-site parking and a safe drop-off zone. The class is run by a professional art teacher who will encourage, inspire and model the skills you need to create something to be proud of. Free your imagination in a friendly space with like-minded members of the local community. A different medium will be used each month so you can learn a wide range of skills. Just bring your happy self!
Amici House is a re-purposed gospel chapel on Bracken Ridge Road that has received a new life as a community hub and café. The centre runs weekly community activities for seniors, community members and NDIS groups, including yoga classes, art classes, women’s groups, podiatry, physiotherapy and Latin dancing. The centre is a hub for the Brighton, Shorncliffe, Bracken Ridge, Deagon, Boondall communities and beyond. Boasting over 300 visitors weekly and 5-star reviews.
You don’t need any experience, just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn something new. All materials will be provided. Classes are designed for people aged 18 and upwards.
